By Drew For Debra. Part of the Don We Now Our Gay Apparel Christmas challenge. It wasn't really Nick's idea, the movie. He couldn't care less about some movie based on some book he hadn't read. But Justin was seriously freaking out about it, and as a second sort-of-maybe-kind-of date, Nick was going to indulge the man. Justin was shocked to find that Nick hadn't read the book. "Nick! It's Tolkien. How can you not have read The Lord of the Rings?" Nick shrugged uncomfortably. Dates weren't supposed to be like this. You go, pick up your date, drive to the theater, get mobbed by fans, duck inside, "watch the movie", get mobbed by fans, and drive away. He wasn't expecting the third degree about his reading habits. Which, frankly, left a bit to be desired. "I just never did," he said, eyes downcast. "What's the big deal anyway?" Justin's eyes got wide and vaguely glassy. Nick wished he could find a camera. He'd never seen Justin Timberlake starstruck before. "It's so cool! There's all these guys in black, see? And they're after this guy who has this ring. And he's all scared and he's got these friends who are helping him run away, except they're not really running away because they're... wait. It's, um. Sort of like Goonies with more special effects." Nick shot Justin a look. "I'm not stupid. I was following up until you said they're running away but not really running away. The whole contradiction thing messes with my head. Let's just go see the movie, alright? Anything I don't get you can explain to me after. If that's what you want to do after." He gave Justin a suggestive glance. Justin rolled his eyes. "Let's go, Romeo." Nick was on comfortable turf for a while -- he did drive to the theater, and they were mobbed by fans. They did indeed duck into the theater and found extremely good seats. Once the movie actually started, however, Nick found that problems existed with the rest of his plan. He slid his hand onto Justin's thigh and started kneading through his jeans. Justin pushed his hand away. "Come on, the movie's starting!" he hissed. Nick blinked. He leaned over to Justin and whispered, "Hey, J. Dark movie theater, you and me sitting next to each other... do I have to spell it out for you?" He licked Justin's ear. Justin shuddered a bit, then turned to Nick. "I actually just want to watch the movie. I practically fell in love with this book in Germany and now you would rather take me here and taunt me into not watching the movie 'cause you're horny? Save it." Nick turned away from Justin a bit and shook his head slightly, as though clearing his thoughts. Justin had turned down making out in the theater? He hadn't last time. Well, Nick was just going to have to make it very difficult for Justin to refuse. Though Justin had expressed disapproval before, Nick's had found its way to Justin's thigh, and as Justin stared rapt at the screen, he began to relax a bit. Little by little, Nick would do some little thing to Justin and he'd sigh or arch his back or lean toward Nick, all without realizing it. The movie had him completely within its thrall. Especially after the lush, green Hobbiton with its slow quaint charm gave way to the darker, faster-paced bits. Justin gripped Nick's hand all through the scary parts, even though he'd read them five or six times and knew every part of every battle. Nick used his other hand to rub Justin's back. Nick decded to get adventurous and leaned in close to Justin, putting his cheek on Justin's hair. When Justin just breathed a contented sigh, Nick moved his head slightly and licked Justin's ear again. Justin got a bit more vocal. Nick got more confident. Justin let out an "ohhh" that was timed perfectly with a moment of absolute silence in the movie. Nick covered Justin's mouth with his own to shut him up. "Dammit, I was really into that movie! Why'd you have to ruin it?" Justin demanded afterward. "I told you, we can do the other stuff later!" Nick shrugged. "Sounded like you were having a good time to me. Besides, you still need to tell me what it was about." "Well, how about I read the book with you." "I'd be more interested in a hands-on approach." "So I'll read the book to you." "That's not hands-on!" "In bed." "Oh. That could be nice." "With no clothes on." "Even better." "It's a great book." "I'm more looking forward to the mouth that's going to read it to me." And Nick kissed Justin right on that mouth. |
